Battery Steele Brewing is looking for enthusiastic individuals to fill part-time positions on our outdoor patios this summer (we will not be open for indoor seating). We are excited to announce that we have acquired units on the front side of the building, enabling us to have large patios on the front, back and alongside the building. It is a high energy environment, requiring strong customer service skills. 

We are open 7 days a week. We offer draft pours and sell cans to go, as well as merchandise. Local food trucks provide food several days a week. 

Due to Covid, we have enhanced our cleaning protocols, while also ensuring that our guests follow state recommended guidelines in order to keep our city safe. Job Responsibilities

Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Work well independently and in a team setting

  • Create a welcoming atmosphere and engage the tap room guests

  • Pour beers according to state laws and company policies

  • Educate guests about Battery Steele beers and the brewing process

  • Re-stock and maintain cleanliness of the taproom, patios and bathrooms

  • Complete direct sales transactions using Square POS

  • Fulfill orders received from online store

  • Sensory training to advance beer knowledge

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Minimum age requirement is 21 years

  • Weekly meetings

  • Flexible schedule

  • Ability to work weekends

  • Ability to lift 40+ lbs.

  • Ability to stoop, bend and reach frequently

  • Ability to work in a standing position

  • Safe server training must be completed before your first shift (provided by the company) 

This job will be evolving with time as for we are a young company with many unknowns. Ability to work weekends is a must.

Candidates would work directly with the tasting room manager.

Social Media Coordinator

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

- Research audience preferences and discover current trends

- Create engaging text, image and video content

- Design posts to promote beer releases, events and engage customer curiosity 

- Measure web traffic and monitor SEO

- Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness

- Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to queries

- Report on online reviews and feedback from customers

- Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics

- Oversee social media account layout

General Requirements

-Proven work experience as a social media coordinator 

-Expertise in multiple social media platforms

-In-depth knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics

-Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)

-Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels

-Ability to grasp future trends in digital technologies and remain proactive 

-Excellent communication skills

-Multitasking and analytical skills
